ROGER PARSONS began auctioneering in 19XX (over ZZ years ago) as a setup man (carrying furniture, appliances, etc.) and became an extraordinary ring man.
After graduating from the Reppert School of Auctioneering (Indiana) in 1981, Dewey Price immediately put him to work selling at antique & estate auctions --often conducting three auctions in one day. Dewey & Roger also conducted several specialty sales at auction houses offering wholesale tools, Christmas items & a wide variety of merchandise.
Roger & Hum first worked together in 2001 on the (Dewey) Price Real Estate & Auctionteam in Chillicothe. They did a wide variety of personal property auctions (from collector cars to firearms & farm equipment to high quality antiques), major charity fundraisers & real estate auctions – including several multi-parcel auctions as that format was first gaining popularity. They also did some of the first online auctions in the area beginning in 2005 with an online only auction of major NASCAR, knives & Barbie collections.
Roger earned his Real Estate salesman’s license in 2000 and an Associate Degree of Applied Business in Sales with a dual major in Appraisal & Real Estate in 2004. He completed Certified Appraisal Guild of America (CAGA) certification in 2006 for appraising personal property.
Roger currently resides in Frankfort, Ohio.
